OEI seeks to provide resources to improve the overall quality of online courses and provide access to students to assist them with completing their educational goals. Completion of the Student Equity Work Group objectives will assist OEI in addressing and supporting the needs of our widely diverse population of students who face academic skills and geographical challenges, inadequate technical ability, physical disabilities, financial issues, diverse economic situations, and cultural differences. Addressing the equity gap in the online educational experience will increase improve graduation and transfer rates for all students.
